Founder, Differential Diagnosis

Dr. Usama Bukhari is a dedicated physician-educator with a distinguished academic and clinical background. After completing medical school to pursue research opportunities at the University of Chicago and Northwestern University. He subsequently completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the CMEF program in Ohio, graduating with distinction as Resident of the Year.

Dr. Bukhari currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Illinois and practices as a full-time Hospitalist and Core Faculty Member at an Internal Medicine residency program in Chicago. He is actively involved in academic medicine, with multiple peer-reviewed publications and educational resources authored for both medical students and residents.

A passionate advocate for medical education, Dr. Bukhari is the founder of Differential Diagnosis, an educational platform that supports thousands of learners in the U.S. and abroad. The platform offers comprehensive resources for USMLE Step 1, Step 2 CK, and Internal Medicine board exam preparation. His Inpatient Medicine Course is widely recognized and utilized by medical students, Internal and Family Medicine residents, and advanced practice providers (PA/NPs) for its practical, high-yield content.
